The messenger
Private chats encrypted on the device, and a Bluetooth mesh so those same locked messages still move at a festival, in a park, or when the towers are down.
Careers
A small team is building Pigeon. When we hire, the role will be listed here first. If you want to write anyway, here’s what the work looks like.
The work
Closed beta. Windows is live, and iPhone, Android, and Mac are next. The product is unfinished, and that’s the interesting part.
Private chats encrypted on the device, and a Bluetooth mesh so those same locked messages still move at a festival, in a park, or when the towers are down.
The client is Flutter. The API and relay are Go. Windows first, then phones and Mac, all the same product rather than a thin desktop leftover.
Fail closed. No “best effort” decrypt. No plaintext in logs. Honest limits on what Bluetooth can do. Encryption is never behind a paywall.
How we work
There isn’t a ladder of teams to hide in. The hard problems are a private messenger people can live in every day, and a Bluetooth mesh that works in a crowd without pretending to be a cell network.
We care more about what you’ve shipped than a slogan. A few paragraphs about something you built beat a generic cover letter.
Email [email protected] with “Careers” in the subject and tell us what you’ve built. We read every one.
